Sand cooler

JML sand coolers are used for economical and precise cooling as well as for the homogenization of hot sand used in continuous operation. JML sand coolers guarantee a consistently high quality of wet and cooled sand. The chillers are proven and technically sophisticated, and designed for three-shift operation.

A chiller consists of a vibrating conveyor with a connected air box and a permeable flow bottom made of special steel. Vibrating drive is provided by unbalanced motors or JML directed exciters. Frequency inverters ensure the optimal transport speed of the sand used. The cool air fan produces the necessary cooling air. A fixed hood with integrated humidifier, temperature probe and humidity sensor completes the cooler. The PLC is connected to a touch screen with humidity measurement and regulation system and provides consistent sand quality.
