Cold chamber diecasting machine model 2P
The production of Colosio 2P cold chamber machines - for the die-casting of aluminum and magnesium alloys – ranges from 1000 to 4400 tons of closing force.
Fully digital, they are equipped with memory of the molds (Coltrol System). The control of the data and their recording and saving on PC, allow to repeat the parameters of pressure, speed and stroke optimal for each single mold, allowing to visualize the injection curves relative to each casted part (Fullcoltrol).
Son of the already tested V2 System, the dual-circuit injection system, with floating piston accumulators, operates at the highest speeds and is therefore suitable for all die-casting requirements. The system allows to choose between a first phase at constant speed "under pump" or progressive "under accumulator". Moreover, the multiplier control takes place through an independent circuit - powered by its own pre-loadable accumulator - which guarantees to carry out this phase with all the required force.
Upon request, the machines can be equipped with a REAL TIME injection system with closed loop of speed and pressure.
The closure is performed by means of a hydraulic locking device. This system has two inverted rod cylinders for the movement of the plate during the approach and opening phases; and 4 cylinders of large section to apply the closing force by means of special jaws gripping the tie-bars. These are made of high-strength alloy steel, hardened, hard-chromium-plated, with rolled threads and well-sized bronze guide bushes that have the function of adequately supporting the plate in its translation movement.
All the closing unit is equipped with protective casings to reduce the dirtiness of the mechanics.
The upper tie-bars can be easily removed for the assembly and disassembly of particularly bulky molds by means of special telescopic cylinders mounted above the moving platen. The new Colosio 2P series pays particular attention to the size of the work cell, considerably reducing the space required for the same tonnage with a traditional toggle-machine. Thanks to the new closing system, the machine is able to control the closing force at each cycle, automatically compensating for any parallelism problems of the molds used.
Upon request, the machines are available with the innovative GREEN LINE system, a new energy and operating reference model for die-casting machines.
